why do women get mad when men ask how much money are we going to spend on the kids?

my ex and i were talking about what we are going to do with the kids for xmas! and i asked her how much do we plan on spending?

the first answer is what she is thinking but you need to tell her that whatever presents they DO receive wont be worth it if they have to hear their parents fighting later on over finances. Less is more
