OK, reading over my list, I realized there has to be some order of preference. Obviously the first two I'm crazy about or else I wouldn't have thought of them first.
COLIN FIRTH! That's whom I forgot! I knew there was some British guy on there!
And I liked Jack Nicholson in "As Good As it Gets".
I'm an old soul. James McAvoy is 30 and the youngest guy on the list!

After that, the field is wide open. Bill Clinton and Javier Bardem are good choices. The three guys from "Crossing Jordan" — Miguel Ferrer, Steve Valentine, and Ravi Kapoor. Sam Waterston, Anthony LaPaglia, Ice-T, William Peterson, Dennis Haysbert, David Caruso — yeah, I watch crime and forensics shows —
I have to go look up a couple more and will be right back.
OK, back now. Gary Sinise, Richard Belzer, Thom Barry, Reginald Vel Johnson, Jeremy Ratchford, all the tall, dark, and handsome male second-leads on crime and forensics dramas. etc., etc.

For the record, I have a very different look on actors. My list is the top five favorites of mine. I'd rather not do a least favorite list since it might clash with a lot of thoughts of others.

5. Bill Murray
My picks are because I am one of those that think that if Robert Downey Jr didn't have such crazy antics off-screen before he went clean, he could have been much more successful. I believe he is the most underrated actor. He is very good at what he does. Probably the best skilled actor I've ever seen. I look forward to his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes and his reprise of Tony Stark/Iron Man.
2 and 3 are self-explanitory. Shia's got good talent, and it has nothing to do with the fact that the teeny-boppers chase him around. Pardon the pun, but I'm a die hard Die Hard fan, so naturally I'm going to like Bruce Willis and the fact that it takes a lot for someone to breathe life into a character like John McLane, and there's nobody who could have done it better.
Eddie Murphy however, I would say he's on there not because of his most recent movies, but more along the lines of Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Trading Places, etc. I know that it's not 100% kid friendly, but he was fantastic in those roles.
And who can forget about Ghostbusters, Stripes, and Groundhog Day's Bill Murray. Those movies=funny. 'Nuff said.
Perhaps a 6-10 is necessary.
